This week a quick and easy early summer pasta: sugar snap peas, baby crookneck squash, broccoli, shiitake mushrooms & green onions from the farmers’ market with canned tomatoes (still, for another week or two) & sauce over elbow pasta w/ grated parmesan on top. Mighty tasty. And fab to see so many summer veggies at the market.
(Just FYI though: don’t try to grate too close to the parmesan rind – you can lose a chunk of skin on your thumb knuckle doing that (ouch))
