Saturday night, Magnolia Collective treated a really good crowd to a great show for their EP release.
Part of the fun of shooting MagCo is shooting through gaps and slivers of space to try and get photos of each band member.
Melissa Swingle, who opened with The Moaners, stepped in for one song to play the saw. Always brilliant, always fun to shoot.
But the show was far, far more than the photographic challenges. It was a smiling, happy, beautiful night. Full of songs off the new CD and a few covers.
Thanks to their residency at The Station, many folks in the crowd already knew every word to the new songs. And for those who already knew the songs, and for those who didn’t, everyone went home with the EP.
Great night.
